Corporate Party Aboard the Caprice Yacht / Miami

On 1/30/2012 AMEC celebrated their annual event aboard the Caprice Yacht in downtown Miami FL.  All of the approximately 100 guests met at the Hyatt(James L. Knight Center) and boarded on to the yacht on the water ways behind the hotel.  As the guests entered they enjoyed cocktail hour with drink and appetizers that featured a sushi boat.  This was more of a relaxing 3 hour event with not much dancing and a laid back atmosphere. With the yacht traveling around the Miami inter coastal waters the guests were taking lots of pictures of the beautiful Miami skyline.  After a while everyone  was directed to the lower deck for a buffet style dinner and desserts.  The highlight of the evening was singing happy birthday to a special co-worker Stephania.  As we returned to the dock the guests thanked me for the music selection.  They wanted this cruise to be laid back with no loud music.  So I did play lots of oldies, soft jazz and easy listening music.  They absolutely loved it!!  Every once in a while it is cool to DJ a party with a mello atmosphere and play some classic tunes.  I love to hear "hey I remember that song".  Thank you AMEC for a trip down memory lane. DJ Ray
