On August 6 2011 Merfi and Helio Madrigal renewed their vows and celebrated 50 years of matrimony at Royal Fiesta in Deerfield Beach.  The event started off with Father Oscar performing a wonderful ceremony that was witnessed by approximately 55 of Merfi and Helio's closest friends and family.  For the cocktail hour Ileana (Merfi and Helio's daughter) requested a mix of Cuban classics which was fitting since most of the guests were from 40-65 years of age.  The event continued with dinner and a slide show which was put together by Merfi and Helio's grandchildren.  Everyone enjoyed seeing the old pictures in black and white taken in the 1950's back in Cuba.  Merfi and Helio then cut the cake and the immediate family made a few speeches and toasts.  Merfi and Helio love to dance so I mixed it up a bit with Top 40, salsa, merengue and cha cha.  Special thanks to Ileana for putting together a memorable anniversary party for her parents and for trusting me with the music selections.  Also thanks to the staff at Royal Fiesta for once again keeping the clients totally satisfied.
