On Saturday November 20th 2010, I was aboard the Catalina with newlyweds Micky and David Nagle. Also aboard was the bridal party, along with friends and family consisting of about 100 guests. We had a beautiful 5:00 sundown ceremony on the upper deck. This lovely ceremony was followed by the introduction of the Bridal party and parents. The romantic, “Someone Like You,” by artist Van Morrison made their first dance a magical memory. The evening continued to flow with some very special toasts presented by the Best Man Dave, and the Matron of Honor Michelle. After all guests enjoyed a delicious buffet accompanied by a variety of dinner music, it was time for the parent dances. Tim McGraw’s, “My Little Girl” was the Father/Daughter dance, and Stevie Wonder’s, “You are the Sunshine of My Life” was the Mother/Son dance. Both songs touched the entire crowd. We followed with the cake cutting ceremony, garter removal and bouquet toss. From that point on, we filled the dance floor with great classics like, The Electric Slide, Bob Seger’s Old Time Rock and Roll, Baby Got Back, Tootsie Roll, the Twist. We also heard current hits like The Cupid Shuffle, and Single Ladies, along with some great Disco classics. The dance floor was PACKED until we returned to the dock. Once again congratulations to Micky and David for allowing all of us to make your Wedding an event to remember… D J Jeff
