Wedding and Reception at the Delray Beach Marriott
Katie and Tim Wong celebrated their dream wedding at the Delray Beach Marriott in Delray Beach, FL on 10/1/2016. The ceremony took place at a nearby church then all of the guests were invited to the Marriott for the cocktail hour and reception. Approximately 100 close friends and family members arrived to the Marriott and were treated to drinks and appetizers as I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites. Myself and Jerry also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber colored, wireless, LED up-lights, dance floor lights and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests were invited into the ballroom I lined up the 8 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Katie chose Cannonball by Justin Prime for the bridal party intros as well as hers and Tim's intro. The first dance was to an mp3 mix created by Katie and Tim then Katie danced with her dad to All Of My Love by Led Zeppelin and Tim danced with his mom to I'll Be There by The Jackson 5. All of the guests found their seats then Mr. Latos (Katie's dad) gave the toast and the blessing of the meal. Katie did provide me with a play list that included top 40, alternative, 90s dance hits and classic rock. What a great mix of genres for this fun group!! After dinner the dance floor filled up and the dancing continued throughout the night. There was no garter/bouquet toss but the happy couple did have a cake cutting ceremony. The photo booth was also a hit and everyone enjoyed it as the night progressed. The closing song for the evening was Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a bow on a great wedding!! Congrats to Katie, Tim and the entire Wong and Latos families. Special thanks to the staff at the Marriott for their excellent service as always!!
