Wedding and Reception at the Hillcrest Country Club

Chuck and CJ Mangniello celebrated their wedding on 4/29/2012 at the Hillcrest Country Club in Hollywood FL in grand fashion.  The ceremony was scheduled to take place outside on the patio but the rain put a damper on plan A so the ceremony was held indoors.  The Hillcrest C.C. staff had a plan B in place and everything went smoothly as always!!  CJ looked amazing as she walked down the isle with her dad to Canon In D by Pachelbel.  Soon after the ceremony all of the guests were directed to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers as CJ, Chuck and the immediate families posed for pictures.  CJ requested Vitamin String Quartet music for the cocktail hour.  After I lined up the bridal party it was time for the grand entrance.  CJ chose Back in Black by AC/DC (instrumental version) for the bridal party and herself and Chuck to enter.  The first dance was When I Look At You by Miley Cyrus then CJ danced with her dad to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion and Chuck danced with his mom to the Butterfly Waltz.  Alex the best man and Erika the maid of honor made two very special toasts and Rev. Gerald gave the prayer before the meal.  It was a buffet style dinner so during that time I played a mix of slow jazz and oldies.  CJ did provide me with a list of her favorite songs which I played during dinner and after for the dancing.  She also told me to take requests from the guests.  There was a really fun group of teenagers that requested all of the group dances and they did a very fine job of dancing to them.  I played the Cha Cha Slide, the Cupid Shuffle, the Macarena, Cotton Eyed Joe, The Wobble, YMCA, the jerk, the Electric Slide and a few others.  CJ requested a very special song for her deceased grandmother which was What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.  There was no garter/bouquet toss but CJ and Chuck did cut their wedding cake and there was also a candy station for everyone to enjoy.  During the cake cutting CJ requested The Oompa Loompa song from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (very funny).   Toward the end of the evening CJ danced a special song with Chuck called Thank You by Mozella which bought a tear to a few eyes.  Congrats to CJ and Chuck and hope you guys have a great time in Disney!!DJ Ray
