Wedding and Reception at the Hilton Hotel / Deerfield Beach

Hello again from the virtual DJ Marc Evans celebrating with Neil and Marnie Sherry on Sunday November11th, a traditional Jewish Wedding at the Hilton Hotel in Deerfield Beach.Underneath the Chuppah in front of 100 guests, Rabbai Gary performed a traditional ceremony for Neil and Marnie while family and friends watched on. The groom, the bridal party and the Rabbi, walked down the aisle to Air on G String by Bach and Marni selected Canon in D. When the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife, I played the traditional Jewish Celebration song, Simon Tov Mazeltov. Great see to see and hear the claps to the beat and smiles on everyone's face as they proceeded back from the Chuppah. For cocktail hour, which was by the pool outside in the beautiful weather, I played some beach style music along withe steel drum and a little reggae. The music was once again perfectly played and selected by Marc Evans as all the guests enjoyed the beautiful weather and music as a lot of them were from out of town.Once cocktail hour was over, all ot the guests were invited to a very beautiful and classy setting with pink LED uplights provided by Eddie B and Company.  I lined up the bridal party and prepared for the grand entrance. The bridal party danced into the room to my personal jam, The Brain. Marnie and Neil made their grand entrance to "I Feel So Close" by Calvin Harris. The first dance was "True Companion" by Marc Cohn, as they danced the whole song by themselves. Then I played as requested the father / daughter dance "I Loved Her First" by Heartland. Very popular song ladies. Then we did the popular Jewish dance, The Hora... Smiles were every where After the first 3 toasts, salad and the blessing over the bread, the party began as I played requested music off the lists provided by the bride and groom. Guests danced for almost a half hour before dinner. Music from every era. Top 40, Give Me everything, LMFAO, some Salsa /Merengue and we even did a few line dances to include the Cupid Shuffle as a lot of guests wanted to learn the  dance which is perfect for people who want to dance on their own. I love to see the dance floor packed prior to the main course. It sets the mood for the rest of the evening. During dinner I played requested songs that varied from Frank Sinatra, Kenny G, Air Supply, Dave Mathews Band, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Billy Ocean and many more artists that people were able to listen, eat and talk to one another during dinner. After dinner, the crowd danced to music from the 70's all the way to the Top 40. We jammed to Jump by Kris's Cross, Brass Monkey by the beastie boys and many other songs from the 80's which was the popular music to dance to for the night. I ended the evening with a song from the Four Seasons, Oh What A Night. Great song as all the remainder of the guests danced the last song with the bride and groom.Off on their honeymoon to Aruba and Puerto Rico and for me the Virtual DJ Marc Evans, I will prepare for next weeks weddings, yes weddings, both at The Bonnet House and The Spanish River Library ...looking forward to being their as they highly recommend Eddie B and Company and DJ Marc Evans.
