Wedding and Reception at the Parkland Country Club

Posted: May 16, 2011

When two people are made for each other, you can just tell.
That was the way I felt about Melissa Tim.

Not rain, or power outages or sickness could keep these two from making their wedding dreams come true. This event was truly unique. First, the ceremony was to be outside. Then, at the last minute mother nature decided to change these plans. So indoors we went. Then, Mother Nature decided to play another trick on us by cutting the power to the building. Eventually, the power came on and the ceremony went off with no issues. Although these situations were inconvenient, the Bride and Groom took it in stride. I was very impressed by that.
Melissa finally walked into the room with Shania Twain's "from this moment".

After cocktail hour, we introduced the wedding party with The Black Eyed Peas "Let's get it started".
Our first dance Was "Marry Me" by Train. The bride and groom are big "Deadheads". So I played "Touch of grey"and "Ripple" per their requests.

A special song for Melissa's stepdad. Brad Paisley's "Half the Dad".
A dedication was given to her mom as well. Bocelli's "The Prayer".

I played music from every genre and era that you could imagine!

Overall it was a great party and one that I will remember for a very long time.
