Wedding and Reception at the Westin Hotel / Ft. Lauderdale Beach

Hello again from the virtual DJ Marc Evans celebrating with Erik and Sangita Pluemer on Saturday December 29th, 2012, who traveled with family and friends from Atlanta and abroad to the Westin Hotel and Spa in Ft. lauderdale.On the roof of the hotel outside overlooking the ocean in front of 200 guests, Erik and Sangita were married in a beautiful setting while family and friends watched on. The Groom, the bridal party and the Pastor walked down the aisle to Kiss by Jesus by Rick Pino. The bride selected to walk down the aisle to, a song that was sung and played by her friend on violin. When the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife, I played as requested, Deep cries out by William Mathews. Once cocktail hour was over and the guest walked into the well lit room with Lavender wireless LED uplighting provided by Eddie B & Company, along with LED dance floor lights and a GOBO Monogram with their names projected on the dance floor. I lined up the bridal party and prepared for the grand entrance. The parents and the bridal party danced into I Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas and then the bride and groom danced into the room to I Can't Stop by Circus One. The first dance was a song played and sung by friends of the bride and groom. After the first dance I invited the father of the bride to join his daughter on the dance floor as they danced to Song For My Daughter. Then it was the mother of the grooms chance to dance with her son to I Found That Girl by The Jackson Five. After the salad, I introduced 4 people to do the Champagne Toast to the bride and groom. From the best man, to the maid of honor,  and both sets of fathers. During dinner the bride asked that I play guitar instrumentals from various artists and have the volume low so guests can converse during dinner and then I hooked a video monitor into my system where a video was played and the sound was sent through my DJ system. Following, were two young ladies that did a black light dance. They provided me a CD as they danced with neon outfits under black lights that created an unforgettable show. After dinner, the videos, the black light dancers, the guests of bride and groom danced the remainder of 2 hours straight to artists such as Pitbull, Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas and many more. They also danced to Hindi music that I provided and they provided as the party rocked til the last minute. The groom and his buddies did some stepping dances as I concluded the evening with The Lion Sleeps Tonight. They danced all night long and had a great time. Off on their honeymoon and for me the Virtual DJ Marc Evans, I will prepare for New Years Wedding back here at the Westin.
