Wedding Reception Aboard the Caprice Yacht

Steve and Melanie got married  aboard the Caprice Yacht on October 15, 2022 and I was happy to be their DJ! As I was getting set up rain started falling but just before the ceremony began the clouds parted and we had lovely weather for the entire evening. Melanie looked gorgeous in her dress. The guests were dressed for the occasion with captain's hats and tropical shirts! The ceremony began with Melanie walking down the aisle to the acoustic version of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's "Its Your Love". After Captain Robbie pronounced Steve and Melanie husband and wife the horn blew and I played Signed Sealed Delivered by Stevie Wonder! Island music by Bob Marley, UB40 and Kygo is always great for cocktail hour on a yacht on the Ft Lauderdale Intercoastal. I introduced the Bride and Groom for the first time to Tesla's "I Love You" followed by their first dance to Lonestar's wedding classic "Amazed". After this Steve the groom read a letter from his newly adopted daughter asking if he would be her adopted Dad. It was a touching moment and the whole room bursted with applause when he accepted with tears in his eyes. Then Steve danced with his three daughters to "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley. Then Steve stayed on the dance floor to dance with his mom to "That's What Mommies Are For" by Chris Lane. Steve's mom and dad were celebrating their 57th Anniversary! After dinner the guests were ready to get to dancing and they packed the dance floor! Some of my fav dancefloor packing songs are: This is How We Do It by Montel Jordan, Dance and Shout by Jackson 5, Return of the Mack by Mark Morrison, Good as Hell by Lizzo, It Takes Two by Rob Base also switching it up to Country with Redneck Woman by Gretchen Wilson, Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy by Big and Rich and Blake Shelton's version of Footloose. At almost every wedding I do I throw on some Muerenge, Latin, Reggeton with Don Omar - Danza Kaduro, Daddy Yankee - Gasolina, Suavemente by Elvis Crespo, and Propuesta Indecente by Romeo Santos. I also threw on line dances Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble and that gets the dance floor packed! Steve and Melanie's Wedding was a wonderful time and I wish the bride and groom the best future!
