Wedding Reception at The Historic Sundy House

On Saturday 10/22/2011 Misty and Jason Cipyak got married and they celebrated the wedding reception at the beautiful Sundy House in Del Ray Beach, FL.  As the guests arrived they were directed to the pool/pond area for the cocktail hour while Jason and Misty took some amazing photos all around the scenic courtyard of the Sundy House.  The waterfalls, mini-bridges and gazebos on the property make for excellent back-drops for the pictures.  When the cocktail hour was over everyone came into the open air reception area for the grand entrance.  The weather on this day was excellent!  As I introduced parents and bridal party everyone grew more and more anxious to see Jason and Misty.  I was glad that I was able to play their favorite song for their grand entrance.  It was Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars.  Everyone was cheering as they went right into their first dance which was Amazed by Lonestar.  Misty then danced with her mom to Every Mother's Dream by B. Rothstein and Jason danced with his mom to Somewhere Out There by Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram.  Soon after Jason's brother John IV made a special toast to the happy couple.    After the two courses the dance floor opened up for some dancing to work off the wonderful dinner.  Jason and Misty provided me with a list of top 40, country, oldies and dance songs that were perfect for this particular crowd.  The age group was from 30-60 so everyone enjoyed the mix.  Jason and Misty did perform the cake cutting ceremony but did not do the garter/bouquet toss.  Instead we had an anniversary dance where all of the married couples are called to the dance floor and I start eliminating them by years of marriage until we get to the last couple standing.  The last couple standing was married 46 years.  More dancing followed until the last song which was Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton.  It was a wonderful, very laid-back wedding celebration which is just the way Jason and Misty planned it.  I was glad to be part of this event.  The Sundy House like always provided the top notch service they promised.  Great job by the management and staff.
