Wedding and Reception at Benvenutos

Eileen and Daniel Cohen celebrated their wedding at Benvenuto’s of Boynton Beach, FL on 4/2/2017.  This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard where approximately 100 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot.  They were all then invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers while Eileen and Daniel posed for pictures.  After the cocktail hour all of the guests made their way into the ballroom while I lined up the 30 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Eileen chose We Are Family by Sister Sledge for the bridal party entrance and Mango Tree by Zac Brown Band for her and Daniel’s intro.  The first dance was to Die A Happy Man by Thomas Rest then everyone came out to the dance floor for the Hora.  The toasts were given by Rebecca (maid of honor), Adam (best man) and Patrick (groomsman) then both grandfathers gave the blessing of the Challah.  Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Daniel did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, 90s dance hits and disco classics.  Perfect mix of genres for this group as they packed the dance floor after they finished their meals.  I took a few requests for the popular group dances and for an anniversary dance.  Eileen requested River Of Dreams by Billy Joel for her and her dad to dance then Daniel danced with his mom to In My Life by The Beatles.   The cake cutting and garter/bouquet toss were performed as the night progressed but the dance floor was the hot spot.  The closing song for the evening was Lean On Me by Bill Withers and that put a bow on an amazing wedding!!  Congrats to Eileen, Daniel and the entire Cohen, Agatstein and Schuman families.

Special thanks to the staff at Benvenuto’s for always providing 5 star service.

Wedding Reception at Benvenutos

Sunday afternoon, April 2nd, 2017 at Benvenuto’s is where the reception was held for Aviva and Scott. During the first hour the guests were enjoying the sounds of DJ Marc to include some Frank, Dean, The Coles and many artists where  they relaxed and even did some ballroom dancing. When Scott and Aviva were ready to be introduced, they made their grand entrance to Happy by Pharrell and then enjoyed the sounds of Aviva sister singing At Last. I then invited all the guests to the dance floor for the Hora and the lifting of the bride and groom. The motzi and the toast were made as they received the first course. Then the bride danced with her dad to Unforgettable and then Scott with his mom to Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

During dinner and dancing, the bride had provided me a very extensive music list where I followed to a T as she enjoyed and danced to almost every song. Music from Billy Joel, Madonna, The Coles, The Platters, Ballroom dance music and many more. The cake was cut to Everlasting Love and then the dancing continued as the small but party crowd danced and enjoyed the sounds of DJ Marc as I played the last song to Adele, To Make You Feel My love as Scott and Aviva thanked me for working with them and creating an awesome day for the family, friends and the both of them.

Good Day Bloggers

DJ Gregg Again.
It was a great Saturday evening Holiday party for Geo Syntec.
We had the event at Benvenutos.
As the guests arrived, I played Holiday music mixed with some light vocal and standards.
The room looked great, decorated with the tree and all of the trimmings.
They even had the photo booth! This was provied by Eddie B & Company.
Dan, the manager got up to say a few words and then the buffet opened.
After dinner they did some raffles. There were some great prizes including computers!
I played all types of music, but everyone was pretty partial to the classics. Disco, 80’s some top 40 as well for good measure.
It was a fun crowd !

Corporate Holiday Party at Benvenutos

Good Day Bloggers

On Thursday I had the pleasure of hosting the B.N.I. networking group of Boynton Beach’s Holiday party.
It was held at Benvenuto.
As the guests came in, I was instructed to keep it light.
The president of the group came up to welcome everyone and then dinner was served
I played some standards and light vocal. I even included some Jazz.
After dinner, I started the party with the Black Eyed Peas ” I Gotta Feeling” and we didn’t look back.
I played music from all genres and styles. As with most Holiday parties, there is a very diverse crowd so you need to cater to everyone.
It was a great time….DJ/MC Gregg Pellito
