Our wedding dance packages are designed to suit a variety of needs - from those who’d like to learn a few moves and freestyle on the dance floor to those who want to razzle-dazzle their guests with an intricate routine. We also offer a special wedding package as a fun treat for your entire bridal party! We are more than happy to help you with any timeframe you have before your wedding. To help ease the stress and allow time to absorb what you’re learning in the lessons, we highly encourage you to start your lessons early. Remember to practice, too! Each package includes the very unique attention you deserve to make your First Dance memorable for everyone! Don’t settle for the middle school sway. Meet Wedding Dance Instructor Kareen Young
Kareen Young began dancing salsa during her college career at the University of Florida. She developed her dance foundation learning Casino/ Rueda style salsa, and soon moved on to mastering many other Latin dance genres including LA style salsa, bachata, cha cha, and merengue. Her love for dance and contagious enthusiasm quickly led her to become co-founder and director of two Latin dance studios in Gainesville and Jacksonville, Florida.
Kareen has taught hundreds of group classes and workshops and directed/choreographed for numerous dance teams throughout her 14-year dance career. Her teams have performed at some of the largest salsa congresses throughout the United States. Kareen is credited with helping to create these two prominent salsa dance communities, leaving a legacy of dancers and instructors behind her after she moved to South Florida in 2013.
Kareen’s latest passion is working with couples. Whether it’s a first dance wedding choreography or simply teaching a few moves, she enjoys helping couples connect on the dance floor. Kareen has the unique ability to instruct even the most inexperienced dancer,fusing together technique, style, flair, and FUN!
