On Saturday, March 1, I had the pleasure of playing music for Buddy and about 250 of his closest friends.
The party was held at his home in Jupiter Florida. The house sits on multiple acres of land with horses, and a lot of room to party!
I was set up in the newly built garage/barn. This was a really big space. At least 75x75.
As I pulled up, I couldn't help but notice that all (and I mean all) of the vehicles in the drive and along the road were pickup trucks!
A real country party? Well, not exactly. I will explain later.
As I was setting up, many people came up to me, excited that I was there. I knew we were in for a party! At the beginning, I did play country music, as well as some classic rock, but it didn't take long before I realized that these people were ready to dance! Maybe it was the fact that the bar was packed? Or maybe the fact that everyone was doing fireball shots off of a frozen ice sculpture. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this was one crazy party!
I started with Usher "Yeah" and didn't look back..... The dance floor was never empty. I played mostly top 40, hip hop, dance, and a couple of country tunes. THESE GUYS WERE OFF THE CHAIN!
As the evening went on, and the alcohol kept being poured, I was asked to stay two extra hours.....
Way to go Buddy...
You Rock, and your friends do too...
