40th Birthday at the Historic Maxwell Room

DJ Gregg here with another installment of the DJ Blog!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Alex as she celebrated his 40th birthday. It was held at the Maxwell House in Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. This was a full on 80's themed party! Alex and ALL of the guests dressed up in their 80's best. Everything from MC Hammer, Madonna, RUN D.M.C.and LL Cool J. were there (Well... at least in costumes...).

I was told to play only music from the 80's ALL NIGHT LONG!

What a fun and refreshing distraction from the usual parties and events that I DJ. I felt like I entered a time warp. It was a great, fun party!

 Alex has about 50 of his closest friends and family were in attendance. I have to say that these folks came to dance and have a great time. The Photo booth was also hot! As Chris, our attendant was helping Alex and all of his friends have great photos. The photo booth was provided by Eddie B. and Company!

There was no specific agenda to concern ourselves with. We just went with the flow of the evening. Towards the end of the night, we sang Happy Birthday, cut the cake, and got right back to dancing!

It was really a fun evening!
