40th Birthday Party at Diamantes
We celebrated the 40th Birthday for Lina at Diamantes last Saturday evening, August 10th, 2014.
She celebrated her birthday surrounded by family members and several close friends. During the cocktail hour her guests enjoyed the evening listening to light jazz from artists such as Sade and Miles Davis. To enhance the cocktail hour we had the famous "Strike A Pose" Photo Booth provided by Eddie B & Company which was a quite an attraction during the evening.
The dining room was opened and before the meal was served Uncle Victor offered his blessing for the food and Lina. The party started after the meal and a thank you message from Lina. Then the dancing began with the happy birthday song by Byron Lee into to good Soca from other artists such as Edwin Yearwood “All Aboard 2K5”; Byron Lee “Conga Line” and “Tiny Winy”. We played some classic reggae from Toots and the Maytals “54-46 that’s My Number”; Shaggy “Oh Carolina”. Lina and her guests also enjoyed selections from V.I.C. “The Wobble” and David Guetta “Without You”. Everyone had a wonderful time.
