40th, Birthday Party at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club

Too often we judge a party on how many people dance but there are exceptions to the rule.

Eric Wald staged a lovely afternoon Birthday party for his wife Janet. Janet wanted Classic Rock with a mix of 70s and 80s Pop/New Wave and a touch of Disco. Janet had a smile on her face from beginning to end! With almost each song she or one of her guests would nod approval to me. Oh yes, there was some dancing but mostly people were grooving to the music. I really enjoyed playing this nice mix of songs which included, but not exclusively, classics from led Zeppelin, The Cars, U2, Earth Wind and Fire, The Who, Boston, Duran Duran some Bee Gees and talking Heads.

By the way the setting was at the beautiful Light House Point Yacht Club and and a beautiful buffet was enjoyed by all.  The staff was attentive to detail and very accommodating.  DJ/MC John Terry
