40th Class Reunion at the Marriott Hotel / Hollywood Beach

Saturday evening June 20th, at the Marriott in Hollywood Beach Florida is where the McArthur High School held their 40th reunion.

DJ Marc Evans spinning the wheels of steel with background music of smooth jazz as they entered the main room for cocktails.

Once the welcome speech concluded and the list of names of the deceased was read, I played themed songs from of all the movies from the 1970s to the 1980s.

Once dinner concluded, the choice of music was disco as guests danced all night long to include line dances such as the electric slide, The Cupid shuffle, the wobble and many other line dances.

Top 40 music and a little old time rock ‘n’ roll were also a hit as the evening came to a close as I played Don't Stop Believing by Journey and then the class song, We’ve Only Just Begun by The Carpenters as DJ Marc closed out the evening of the 40th high school reunion for McArthur High School.
