50th Anniversary Party Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Becki and Manuel Baez celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary bash aboard the Catalina Yacht in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/4/2017.  Approximately 90 close friends and family members arrived at the dock and as they were invited aboard the Catalina they were directed to the top deck for drinks and appetizers.  A 4 piece Mariachi band played a few traditional ballads on the dock as the guests boarded.  There were no intros or first dances just a great group of friends reminiscing about the good old days and swapping stories about Becki and Manuel.  When all of the guests came down to the lower deck for dinner, Danny, Michael and Jennifer (Becki and Manuel's children) gave a few very funny toasts then everyone found their seats.  Becki did provide me with a small play list that included oldies, latin favorites and big band hits.  Perfect mix of genres for this fun group!!  I had a blast playing all of the classics and watching everyone truly enjoy those great genres of music that we will never hear again.  Congrats to Becki, Manuel and the entire Baez family... truly a class act!!
