50th Birthday and Wedding Reception at Benvenutos!

DJ Gregg here to tell you about an awesome party that I did at Benvenuto's in Boynton Beach last week.
Kim was celebrating her 50th birthday. As all of the guests were enjoying libations, I was planning with Kim on her little secret. Her and her longtime partner Christine were finally going to tie the knot and it was a surprise!
So, as the guests came into the main dining room, I was asked to play some jazz and light vocal to set a nice tone.
The servers were asked to take everyone's orders.
At this point Kim and Christine snuck out of the room to get changed in their wedding attire.
I then made a quick announcement and welcomed everybody to the party.
I also told them that it really was a WEDDING! The place went crazy with cheers and applause. It was very joyous.
At this point, one of their friends married them on the dance floor....in front of everybody!
I then asked the newlyweds to dance their 1st dance as a married couple "Power of Two" by the Indigo Girls.
The rest of the afternoon went very smoothly. I played a lot of music from the 80's and 90's per the client request.
It was a really great time....
