Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with another installment of the DJ Blog!
On Saturday I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Maria as she celebrated her 50th birthday. It was held at the Woodmont Country Club in Tamarac.
As the guests arrived, I was asked to play some Spanish Guitar music to set a mood of fun and conversation.
Maria has about 50 of her closest friends and family in attendance. I have to say that these folks came to dance and have a great time.
The party was supposed to be during the week of Hurricane Irma and was rescheduled but that didn't stop everyone from showing up getting down! The main thrust of the music was Latin.
Maria is a native of Ecuador and really loves to dance. I played a lot of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reggeaton and Freestyle. I also played a few classic tunes and some rock to round off the evening.
There was no specific agenda to concern ourselves with. We just went with the flow of the evening. Towards the end of the night, we sang Happy Birthday, cut the cake, and got right back to dancing!
It was really a fun evening!
