50th Birthday Party at Private Residence

Dawn and Terry's 50th birthday celebration was held at a beautiful home in Oakland Park on Saturday, August 10th. I had the honor of DJing for Terry’s wedding a few years ago, so it was great to see everyone again. Guests began to arrive shortly after 6pm as I played a mix of 70s and 80s pop for the cocktail hour. At 7:00pm I welcomed the family and friends and invited everyone inside so the birthday twins could say “Thank You” before dinner. After dinner, everyone came back outside to join in on a few line dances before Dawn and Terry cut into their birthday cake. Following the cake I had a packed dance floor with the birthday ladies and all their guests. I had a nice group of younger people in their 20s and people in their 50s so I played a nice mix of 70s to 00s dance hits and even took some requests for all the guests to enjoy.
