Saturday evening January 28th aboard the Caprice Yacht is where Bob and Don celebrated 50 years together with friends and family on an Anniversary Cruise on the intracoastal of Fort Lauderdale.
As guests boarded, I played Island music until the captain made his safety speech before we set sail down the waterways. Once cocktail hour began I played as requested, Beegie Adair, all sorts of cocktail music.
As cocktail hour came to a close, Bob sang a song to Don with a friend playing the piano on mid deck of the Caprice.
Guests were then escorted to the main dining room for dinner as I played as requested, Sinatra, Buble, Nat King Cole, Piano music along with some Jazz.
As guests started to make there way back to mid deck following dinner, Bob and Don made a toast and then the first dance followed to Liza Minelli's Maybe this Time. Guests joined them on the dance floor and then the dancing began as dessert was served.
From disco to the fox trot, the lindy, latin music and slow songs til The Last Dance by Donna Summer as we docked back at the hotel for departure. A great time was had by all on Bob and Don's Anniversary Cruise with DJ Marc Evans..
