60th Birthday Party at Smith & Wollensky's

I had a wonderful time DJing Karen's surprise 60th Birthday Party at Smith and Wollensky's in Miami Beach. This is a beautiful venue right next to South Point Park and across the channel from Fisher Island. As the guests arrived I played a mix of songs like Hotel California, The Sweet Escape, and Cheap Thrills. When Karen arrived all 50+ guests shouted "Surprise!" and I played Usher - Yeah as Karen is a big Usher fan! Then I played Stevie Wonder - Happy Birthday and Shania Twain - Man I Feel Like a Woman. Karen was so happy and the party was lively! I played songs like David Guetta - Who's that Chick and Calvin Harris - One Kiss for cocktail hour. Then for dinner I switched to classic rock playing songs like Sweet Caroline, John Denver - Calypso, Tom Petty - Free Falling and Doobie Brothers - LIsten to the Music. After a delicious steak dinner the dancing began! I played songs like September, Cupid Shuffle, Ladies Night, Play that Funky Music, Dancing Queen, Grease Megamix, the Conga. Cotton Eye Joe and We are Family. The dancing went straight until the end of the night. I am so happy I got to be party of Karen's special day!
