60th Birthday Party at the Sawgrass Conference Center
This was a perfect day to celebrate the birthday of Janet Golding; a sunny bright afternoon in Sunrise Florida.
It was obvious how well loved, appreciated and admired Janet is. The room was well decorated with gold accent, beautiful floral arrangements on all tables and of course the beautiful sound of specially selected songs that Janet grew up with and wanted to hear during the evening. Janet was not only treated with beautiful music but a beautifully dance performance by several young ladies whom she has mentored. The piece was specially choreographed to honor a beautiful Lady’s 60th Birthday. Selections from some of Janet’s favorite artists: Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, Anita Baker, Teddy Pendergrass, Earth Wind & Fire, and Billy Paul were played throughout the evening. The evening ended just how it started with her husband paying special tribute to the woman he loves with kind words and a special solo by a family friend “You are My Lady”. When Janet (aka: Jan-T) and I spoke she said there was a special song that she wanted to be played and that song
was “Tonight I Celebrate My Love.”
When we thought the tributes were over we were entertained by a special guest singer, Sharon Wiles who got the guests on their feet. Before we started the dancing the celebration was blessed with special prayers and also ended with a special blessing over Janet on her 60th Birthday and to those present celebrating with her.
