The 80th Surprise Birthday Party, at the Delray Sands Resort, for Bob Orloff was a rousing success. 100 guests danced and mingled to music predominantly from the 1950s and 60s. Requests for Doo- Wop were numerous and it was a pleasure playing some underground Doo-Wop tunes such as Dion's acapella version of Springsteen's If I Should Fall Behind. Remarkably, it was the younger guests ( Bob's grandchildren and their friends) who danced the most. They particularly enjoyed songs by Little Richard, Jerry Lee and Elvis. The evening ended with the playing of Goodnight My Love. Everyone had a great time and it was a party most will remember! DJ/MC JT
