90th Birthday Party at Club 19
When I got a last minute call from Eddie to DJ a 90th Birthday Party I jumped right on it! A mixup from another DJ led to Jan almost being without a DJ on her Birthday and there is no way we could let that happen! Jan had her Birthday Party at Club 19 in Pembroke Lakes on Sunday, November 13, 2022. The Country Club setting was gorgeous and I played light music as the guests arrived. The Event started with Jan’s family getting up and wishing her happy birthday and sharing memories. Many aunts, cousins, grandchildren and friends were in attendance. I heard Jan liked Sinatra but also wanted some some music from the decades and some new music. Jan’s favorite song is Chicago’s Colour My World and I played it while her and her husband Bob danced surround by family and friends. We sang Happy Birthday and Jan cut her cake which featured her wearing a Queen’s crown! I played Happy Birthday by Stevie Wonder. The family took many pictures including a photo of the ladies in the Red Hat Society which Jan is a part of. After that I played songs like the Cupid Shuffle, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, YMCA and I Will Survive. The crowd loved it. Jan especially liked when I played Frank Sinatra New York, New York and Dean Martin That’s Amore. I am so happy I was able to come to the rescue for Jan on her Birthday!
