90th Birthday Party at Tropical Acres

Jenny's 90th birthday celebration was held at Tropical Acres Steakhouse in Davie, FL on Saturday, January 25th. Guests began to arrive shortly after 6pm as some background pop music played throughout the banquet hall while everyone was socializing. Anticipating the arrival of the birthday girl, guests were invited to make song requests while I played some 80s dance party hits by artists like Michael Jackson and Madonna. At 6:30pm I asked everyone to gather around as we welcomed Jenny to her surprise 90th birthday party by yelling "SURPRISE!” as I played Pretty Woman by Roy Orbison. Dan walked around saying hello to his family and friends and thanking everyone for joining him in celebration of the big 50. We sang Happy Birthday to kick off the party then I invited everyone to the dance floor to watch Jenny cut her cake while I played How Sweet It Is by James Taylor. I played a nice mix of 60s to 80s dance hits and even took some requests for all the guests to enjoy. Thank you Jenny, Joan and friends for such a fun party. You guys were a great crowd - DJ ELOW
