Wow, where do I start about this breath taking wedding reception on Saturday, October 2nd at Benvenuto's. Ashley & Frank Schiro along with 175 friends and family members were such a pleasure to work with, it's hard to find the words to describe this evening. Starting from their Grand Entrance into the ballroom until the last song (Empire State of Mind), there was a buzz in the air! The bridal party was amazing, when they were each introduced, a little dance/skit was performed for all the guests to enjoy. The first dance was a classic from old blue eyes, Frank Sinatra, Fly Me to the Moon. Ashley's sister and maid of honor, (Amanda) then dedicated and sang Valentine (Martina McBride), to the newlyweds. After a delicious 3 course dinner Ashley and her mother kicked up their heels to "Brown Eyed Girl" and Frank and his mother waltzed around the dance floor to "The Way You Look Tonight". Then DJ Roberto rocked the house while I MC'd the event. Glenn, from Rays of Light, provided a stunning aray of lighting patterns from the uplighting around the room to the intelligent lights over the dance floor. Erin, from "Erin Lynn Events" was the wedding co-ordinator for the evening, along with Cassidy Thompson (photographer), and Doyle Video productions. DJ Roberto played all of Ashley & Franks requests for dinner and dancing. We had a young, hip crowd when it came to the music selections and the dance floor never emptied. The evening went by so fast and the guests wanted to keep going, but you know the old saying "All good things must come to an end". Ashley & Frank are off to Greece for their honeymoon and then back home to Long Island, New York.
