Anniversary Party Aboard the Catalina Yacht

On Saturday, November 29th, 2014 I had the honor of DJing/MCing the 25th Anniversary and Wedding Renewal of Vows for Omar and Vivian Garcia aboard the beautiful Catalina Yacht. The Ceremony took place on the top deck of the yacht. The Bride and Groom walked down the isle to the song “Baby Got Back, by Sir Mix A Lot” as requested by the Groom. Following the Ceremony, I played a mixture of easy listening, and 80s music for a cocktail hour. Following the Cocktail Hour, I introduced the Bride and Groom and played the song “Here and Now,” by Luther Vandross. They walked in and did their first dance to the song as well. After the first dance, the Best Man and son of the Groom delivered touching toasts to the Bride and Groom. I began dinner service with some more 80s music and ramped things up from there. As guests finished their meal, they eagerly filled the dance floor.. After about an hour of dancing, we did the cake cutting to the song, Love and Marriage, by Frank Sinatra. For the rest of the night I threw down a mixture of music that the Bride and Groom hand picked of mostly 80s, 90s and 2000s Pop and Top 40.
