Bar Mitzvah Aboard the Sundream Yacht
Thursday evening December 26th aboard the Sundream Yacht is where 35 friends and
family members celebrated with Ruben and his family on his Bar Mitzvah
celebration.
As guests boarded I played Island Music and then some upbeat
music to get the small group thinking about partying.
When cocktail hour
concluded I began to invite guests to the dance floor as we began with a
celebration Hora and lifted the guest of honor up on the chair. Then I followed
with Blurred Lines, I Gotta Feeling and some more dance music as well as some
French music provided by the host and hostess. We then did the blessing over
the bread and dinner was served on the lower level. Background music for dinner
was mellow so they can eat and converse.
Following dinner we cut the cake
and served dessert and then we began to dance straight through until we
docked.
Song choice was, a lot of Abba, Gloria Gaynor, Boney M, Village
People, Black Eyed Peas, Pointer Sisters and Michael Buble ended the night wi
Sway and Save the Last Dance for me. Being that they were a Jewish crowd, I was
asked to p,at the Hatikvah as the ended the evening.
