Bar Mitzvah at 94th Aero Squadron
May 2nd Saturday Afternoon in Miami at the 94th Aero Squadron with DJ Gregg, DJ jerry and myself Marc Evans is where we partied with Austin and his family for his Bar Mitzvah celebration. Once cocktail hour conceded and guests entered the room, I lined up the family and introduced them to Celebration from Kool and the Gang and then Austin entered to Welcome to the Jungle as everyone cheered for the Bar Mitzvah boy. I then invited Austin to escort his mom to the center of the dance floor for the first dance of the afternoon to How Sweet it is. I then invited all the guests to join in as we began the celebration hora and everyone was circled around the family as I got Austin, his brother Ethan, Mom and Dad on the chair as they were lifted in the air.
Following the hora, the buffet tables were open for all the guests to eat as we then introduced the photo montage that was played on 55" television screens that were provided by Eddie B & Company as was looped and played for the entire event. We also provided The Strike A Pose photo booth that all of Austin's friends and family were able to take as many pictures as they would like and dress up as DJ Jerry had them place a pic in the album and write a note to Austin as he was given the album at the end of the event.
For the remainder of the party we did dance routines to Cupid Shuffle, The Wobble, CottonEye Joe, Cha Cha slide, The Conga Line with the Dollar Wine dance and then played some top 40 along with 80's music for mom and her friends. As the party came to a close and DJ Gregg played I'm Glad you Came, Mom and Dad approached all three of us and were very pleased with the great job we did to keep the party moving and rockin all afternoon....DJ Marc Evans
