Bar Mitzvah at the Tower Club
Saturday evening January 11th at the Tower Club in Ft. Lauderdale is where the
cocktail and reception for Jake's Mitzvah was held.
DJ Gregg and I handed
out glow and lighted party favors as the kids played games during cocktails.
Once inside the main room we began with the blessing over the bread and the
first dance with Jake and his mom to Wind Beneath My Wings. As they danced I
invited everyone to join in and then we did the celebration Hora. We lifted Jake
and the whole family one by one into the air. Following the Hora we did a 20
minute dance set as everyone joined in.
Dinner and was served to the
adults and the food station was opened for the kids. Then the party got going
with all the requests from mom.. N.Y N.Y, Shout, Love Shack, Red Solo Cup, Billy
Joel and many more other Dance songs. The party was a strictly a dance party as
we did the Conga Line, Cupid Shuffle and many more dances that kept the party
going til the end.
