On Saturday December 20 @ The Wyndham Hotel in BocaRaton is where many traveled to celebrate the Mitzvah of Ari.
As the services ended and guests arrived into cocktail hour, I played some oldies but goodies, from Frank, Dean, Harry Connick, The Coles and many more as the guests were older and enjoyed that era.
For the introduction into the main room, I played, and got people standing and clapping to I Gotta Feeling for Mom and Dad. Then I introduced Ari to Party Rock Anthem as he danced into the room with cheers from all of his guests. The Motzi and wine were blessed over as I introduced Grandpa to Tradition from Fiddler on the roof. Then I gathered everyone on the dance floor, as they lifted Ari in the chair for the celebration Horah...
First course was served as I continued to play some of the oldies but goodies.
Following salad I had Ari dance with both his Mom and Dad to Forever Young By Joan Baez and then played a few dance songs to get the crowd into the party mood.
While all of these formalities were going on, the guests were able to view a Photo Montage on a beautiful 32" TV provided by Eddie B and Company that looped all night long...
As dinner was served to the adults, there was a small amount of kids and very young, so we played a few rounds of musical chairs which they loved.
Following dinner we began the candle lighting ceremony where both Ari and I worked together by sharing the mic as he read his poems, I played the music and then I announced the guests up again to light and take pictures with Ari as they lit the candles.
Ari proceeded to do a dance with his mom to, You Are The Sunshine of My Life and I invited all guests to join in.
Then the party continued as they danced for the remainder of the evening to all the requests on the sheets provided including some line dances and I also handed out party favors that were provided by the hostess A Great time was had by all as DJ Marc Evans the "Mitzvah King" created an awesome event for Ari and his family...DJ/MC Marc Evans
