Birthday Celebration at the Ritz Carlton / Bal Harbor

Esther Shub celebrated her 75th Birthday Bash at the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbor on 1/29/2016 with her close friends and family members.  Approximately 50 guests were invited to Esther's big day.  Debbie (Esther's daughter) was the host that afternoon for the festivities. During the first hour most of the guests mingled and share stories about Esther and her amazing family.   All of the guests were then invited to a brunch buffet and soon after Debbie and a few family members gave the toasts and speeches.  It was like a mini-roast for Esther who had tears in her eyes most of the time.  I played a mix of Cuban classic, disco and top 40 for this very energetic/fun crowd.  I spoke with Esther about 4 days before the event and she just asked me to play to the crowd and to have fun with her as she calls "Jew-bans" (Jewish/Cubans).  Well it was a great birthday bash and I promised Esther that I will gladly DJ her 80th!!!  Special thanks to Debbie for having me and for choosing Eddie B & Company for her mom's big day!!
