Birthday Party Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Mrs. Rutledge celebrated her 70th birthday with 75 close friends and family members aboard the Catalina Yacht out of the Riviera Beach Marina in Riviera Beach, FL on 4/13/2025.  As all of the guests boarded the Catalina they were all directed to the top deck for drinks and appetizers at the cocktail hour.  I played a mellow mix of yacht rock for the cocktail hour and for the brunch buffet that was available for all to enjoy on the main deck.  After lunch everyone came back up to the top deck for some dancing fun.  I played a mix of top 40, 90s pop band favorites, motown and I took a few requests for some of the newer line dances.  There was also an extensive dessert station on the top deck for all to enjoy as the day progressed.  As the Catalina approached the dock I played Last Dance by Donna Summer and Closing Time by Semisonic as the last songs.
