Birthday Party Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

For the first gig of 2022 I had the pleasure of DJing Deke's Surprise Birthday Party on board the Sundream Yacht! Deke's wife Alexis planned the event and he did not even know they were getting on the yacht! He was pleasantly surprised. Alexis gave me music suggestions which I was happy to accommodate. The guests entered to So Fresh, So Clean by OutKast and went up to the top deck for cocktails. It was a warm breezy evening. I played songs like Creep by TLC, Woman by Doja Cat and Killing Me Softly by Fugees. After cocktails everyone went to the lower deck for a salmon and Prime Rib dinner while I played songs like Every Little Thing I Do by Soul For Real and Holding Back the Years by Simply Red. After dinner the crowd was ready to dance! A circle formed and I played Rump Shaker by Wreckx-N-Effect while people showed off their dance skills. Treat Em Right by Chubb Rock, This is How We Do It by Montel Jordan and Push It by Salt n Peppa kept the party going! We did line dances with the Cupid Shuffle and The Wobble by VIC. Alexis loved to get on the mic and play emcee! This crowd was full of energy! I hope Deke enjoyed his surprise as much as I did!
