Birthday Party Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

I DJed the surprise 60th birthday party for Pierre aboard the Sun Dream Yacht on Saturday, January 6, 2024. As the guests arrived I played music from John Mellencamp, Rolling Stones and Billy Joel. When Pierre arrived, we all yelled "surprise!" I believe Pierre was truly surprised! The weather was not the best but it looked like it might clear up so we set off up the Intra Coastal Waterway. I played music from Rihanna, Joan Jett, the Weeknd and Ah-Ha. We cruised up the Intra Coastal when suddenly a massive rainstorm came upon us. Next, we watched as a tornado touched down on Fort Lauderdale in the distance. The boat rushed back to dock until the storm passed. I played "Rock you Like a Hurricane", "Cyclone", "Tornado" and "Rain on Me". The party went on after the storm passed. We cruised up the Intra Coastal. After a video presentation to Pierre and a few words from his family and friends, he cut the cake and we sang Happy Birthday! I played the songs Lebanese NIght, and Nour El Ein by request as guests danced to the Lebanese music. We ended the night with SOCA music from Kes and Byron Lee. Pierre's surprise birthday was a great time in spite of the tornado and will definitely be one to remember!
