Leo Vezina celebrated his 70th Birthday aboard the Sundream Yacht on June 4, 2011.  It was a surprise so Ingrid which is the daughter in law was my contact person before the event.  Yvette (Leo's wife) told Leo that they were going to take a water taxi to dinner on the inter-coastal.  All of the guests were directed to the top deck of the Sundream as they entered the yacht.  As Leo and Yvette walked out of the Double Tree Hotel towards the water a loud roar was heard "SURPRISE"!!!! Leo looked like he was in shock!!!  The rumor during dinner was that he knew what was going on the whole time.  If that's true then he's a great actor. He really did look surprised.  The guests and host of honor enjoyed a cocktail hour then went down to the lower deck for dinner.  During dinner Leo's family and friends made a mini-roast. A few friends, family and co-workers all had such nice things to say about Leo.  Last but not least was his wife Yvette which made a short but sweet toast and gave him a big birthday smooch!!! After dinner everyone went back up to the middle deck for some more dancing and the cutting of the birthday cake.  We all sang happy birthday to Leo and enjoyed a delicious cake dessert.  Yvette and Ingrid did not provide a song list for me, they just said Ray do what you do best and make sure they have fun.  Well that they did and it worked out perfectly.  The last song was Save the Last Dance for Me by Michael Buble which everyone danced to as the yacht pulled in to the dock.  Excellent night!! Great party!! Great friends and family!!!
