Birthday Party at One Bal Harbor Resort

On 6/20/2014, Camron Murphy hosted a birthday bash for his mom Rivian Murphy at One Bal Harbor Resort in Miami Beach, FL.  Approximately 40 close friends and family members were in attendance when Rivian and her husband Fred walked into the ballroom and everyone shouted "SURPRISE"!!  Rivian was in shock to see old and new friends and was more in shock that they kept the surprise hush, hush.  While all of the guests sat for a 3 course meal they were all invited to enjoy the sounds of the incomparable Nicole Henry.  She is a jazz artist that won a Soul Train Music Award just last year and a close friend of Rivian and Fred.  After her set I played a mix of 70-80 disco, funk, classics and a few group dances.  Everyone really seamed to enjoy the evening and as it came to an end they all wished Rivian a happy birthday and many, many more.  Hats off to Camron for executing a perfect surprise party for his mom!!!  Congarts to the Murphy family!!
