Birthday party at the Maxwell Room
Jack Killen had a 70th Birthday party for his partner Fred at the historic Maxwell Room in Ft Lauderdale. Over 70 guests attended dressed in 70's attire. The music, of course, was Disco, Disco and more Disco! Guests danced non-stop all night. The only exception to the dancing was a fabulous impersonation show of Bette Midler staged by Holly Faris. Holly and I coordinated the one-hour show with special music and cues. The show was a big hit! The audience went wild and sang along with many of the Disco hits. The evening culminated with the playing of Donna Summer's Last Dance followed by an encore of the Three Degrees When Will I See You Again? Everyone had a great time and I look forward to playing 70's and Disco again. It makes people happy! DJ John Terry
