Birthday Party at the Riverside Hotel

Saturday Evening August 5th at the Riverside Hotel is where family and friends celebrated with Gabe on his 90th Birthday Bash.

Cocktail hour was held on the balcony over looking Ft. Lauderdale. The choice of music was dinner swing to include Buble, Sinatra, Dean Martin, Billy Joel, Elvis and many artists to fit the genre.

Cocktail hour ended and guests were invited into the main room where they were greeted by Pam the niece of the birthday boy as she welcomed everyone and mentioned where to sit for dinner and then I introduced Gabe and had the whole room stand and cheer for him as he loved it and then he did the prayer over the meal. 

Following her welcome speech amd prayer, Salad and Dinner were served. Dinner music was pretty much the same with a little bit more flare to include M. Jackson, Beyonce and more.

Guests then danced from top 40, Latin Music, Rock and Roll, Salsa, Merengue and some Old Time Rock and Roll. We even did the Cupid Shuffle as I got on the floor to teach and join then in the line dance. 

The last song of the evening was last Dance by Donna Summer.  Everyone packed the floor, sang and danced with Gabe.  All of his friends approached me and thanked me for an unforgettable evening....Happy Birthday from DJ Marc Evans
