Block Party in the Knoll Ridge Neigborhood / Ft. Lauderdale

Hello blog readers!DJ Gregg here to tell you about the great time I had on Saturday hosting a block party.Knoll Ridge is a great little neighborhood situated on the east side of Ft. Lauderdale.I was asked to set up at the end of the street facing towards everyone. It was a great mix of people and about 200 people attended throughout the day. All of the residents were asked to bring a dish for the pot luck dinner. Tables were lined up and down the street. They had bounce houses for the kids, a balloon artist and face painting. My job was to keep the mood fun and lively. I played music from all genres and generations. It was a great opportunity for the residents to meet their fellow neighbors. One of the residents even brought his classic cars to display! A 1932 chevy and a 1935 chevy. They were set up just behind me. There was a lot of interest in them.Very cool!It was a great day, with great weather, and an opportunity to meet their great neighbors.I enjoyed itTill next time.....DJ GREGG
