Boat Parade Party Aboard the Sundream Yacht

 

Saturday, December 13th - Winterfest Boat Parade aboard the Sun Dream Ford Motors Boat

Wow! If I had to sum up the night into one word, that would be it.  This was one of the highlights of my 16 year DJ career. The evening began docked on the new river in downtown Ft. Lauderdale among a crowd of boats awaiting the parade start. Boy was it a spectacle to see! All of the boats each had their own party and vibe to them, but I feel ours was particularly special. Things kicked off immediately as guests arrived. Due to the nature of the event, there wasn’t time to ramp things up. This event needed it popping from the start. Within the first 20 minutes of guests arriving, we already had a good dance floor going and the boat was still docked!  As the parade began, we steamed past the cameras and judging grand stands as I shouted for everyone to vote for us and got the stands cheering. Honestly, I was beaming the entire way. As the evening progressed, the top deck filled to near capacity as guests danced, screamed and waved at the other boats and crowds. Through dinner serived, I still had a dance floor and grand stands to impress, so I kept the party going. As we neared the docks of the Gallery One, several of the guests explained how this was their favorite boat parade that they have been apart of! It was a huge honor to hear, because this is an annual event for Ford Motors. A huge thanks to Ford Motors, The Sun Dream Yacht and her staff and crew for the excellent evening!
