I have DJ'd many events through the years and sometimes there's a uniqueness to a party which makes me say I wish this would never end. On Saturday, March 26, 2016, I was honored to DJ the Book Launching of the Late Artist Mr Joseph Lalli at Blanco Y Blanco Art Studio in Ft Lauderdale. The event, officiated by Jeanne Lalli, was attended by over 30 guests who came to honor the life of Joseph Lalli. I was given "artistic freedom" to play what I thought would be suitable. Jeanne did specify that Joseph was a lover of the Rolling Stones and thought it would be nice to play some Stones. I did, and embellished her request with a mix of Rock, Soul a touch of Disco and a few modern hits. People started dancing to Honky Tonk Woman and continued thereafter. I knew that Joseph also liked Opera and Classical and so I played a Andre Bocelli tune followed by an orchestrated intro to Procol Harum"s Whiter Shade Of Pale which was a beautiful ending to a Lovely evening. My only regret was that the evening had to end. DJ/MC JT
