Saturday I had the pleasure of hosting Natalia and Bruce's wedding celebration.
And what a celebration it was!
The Bonnet House in Ft .Lauderdale is always a beautiful setting, but this was extra special. The tables were set wonderfully and the atmosphere was very festive.
After the ceremony and cocktail hour, I was ready to do my thing.
First we started with the introductions of the bridal party and then the bride and groom.
Natalia looked gorgeous! Their first dance was a Brazilian hit "So Nice" by Bebel Gilberto.
Bruce, who is NOT Brazilian did a great job dancing this song! He told me that he had been practicing for weeks and it showed. They were a hit.
After the toasts by the maid of honor and best man (Jenny and Keith), the Brazilian trio took over. "The Claudio Spivak Trio" was great! A really tight group that played the perfect Brazilian, Latin, and American dinner music. After dinner, it was my turn! First I started off with a special request from the mother of the bride to the new couple "The Best is Yet to Come" by Sinatra. All of the couples got up to dance. Then I hit the ground running with "I've Got A Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas. WOW! The dance floor was packed and stayed busy the whole night!
I played every genre you could imagine! From Hip Hop to 80's 90's Disco and of course Brazilian and Latin Hits.
The end of the evening came with the bride throwing the bouquet as they were exiting on a golf cart. I was all decked out with "Just Married" and such.
Natalia and Bruce said to me that they had a great time! And I have to say that I did too.
It was a great night!
Congrats again to Natalia and Bruce
