Cinderella Ball On The Catalina Yacht

On Saturday, September 13, 2014 aboard the Catalina Yacht the annual Cinderella ball was held. As the princesses boarded with their fathers as the escorts they made their way to the upper deck for cocktail hour where I played a mixture of Top 40 Pop, Rock and Country. Towards the end of cocktail hour the host Mr. Daniel Young gave a blessing and welcomed all the fathers and their daughters to the Cinderella ball. Then the guests were invited down to a buffet style dinner. After dinner everyone made their way back to the top deck where the party continued. Mr. Daniel Young asked me to do some specially dances for the princesses and their fathers. The first song was for all the princesses that were leaving the Cinderella ball the the song that was chosen was Cinderella by Steven Chapman. The second dance was for all the new princesses that would be joining in the Cinderella ball for the first time, the song that was chosen was I Loved Her First by Heartland. Then we continued with some more dance music and line dances like the Macarena, Cupid Shuffle and the Cha-Cha Slide. Towards the end of the evening there were request such as  Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle. Once again the Photo Booth from Eddie B & Company was a big success and the rain did not damper this party, and everyone had a great time see you next year DJ Jerry O.
