Class Reunion Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Miami Northwestern Senior High School Class of 1984 held their 40th Class Reunion aboard the Catalina Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl on 6/21/2024.  Approximately 100 classmates and guests boarded the Catalina Yacht that Friday night for a 4 hour cruise along the S. Florida intercoastal water ways.  The cocktail hour was held on the top deck and that is where most of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers as I played a mix of old school tunes.  All of the guests were then invited to the main deck for announcements, awards and a buffet style dinner.  Amazing energy all night long from this fun group.  They provided me with a play list that included old school rap, reggae, r&b and funk.  Perfect mix of music that had the dance floor packed all cruise long.  As we approached the dock I played the school song which was Family Tradition by The O' Jays...PRICELESS.

Congrats to the Class of 1984 and I hope to see them all again at the 50th class reunion.
