Corporate Event Aboard the Caprice Yacht

United Wealth Services held their annual event aboard the Caprice Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 2/1/2024.  Approximately 80 co-workers and their guests boarded the Caprice that Thursday night for a 4 hour cruise along the S. Florida intercostal water ways.  All of the guests were invited to the top deck for the cocktail hour and that is where I played a mix of tropical/latin tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  When it was time for dinner, everyone made their way to the main deck and prepared for a buffet style meal.  Some of the execs made a few speeches and acknowledgments then it was party time on the mid-deck.  They all came up from dinner and packed the dance floor for the rest of the cruise.  I played a mix of top 40, afro-beats, 90s and 2000s hip-hop and latin favorites for all to enjoy and I did also take a few requests for reggae.  As the Caprice approached the dock I played Ain't No Stopping Us Now by McFadden and Whitehead as the last song.
