Monday night, June 11'th, 2012 I played for a corporate party for SSI. (Not social security insurance or disability,) but Solutions Service Innovation, an Alabama based company having a big conference in Fort Lauderdale. We partied aboard the Sundream's Catalina. I played requests for 60's and 70's rock along with southern rock and country. About 15 minutes after the boat left the dock, dinner was served with jazz, Jimmy Buffett, and even a Leon Russell request I hadn't heard in a while: "Back To The Island," playing just as the sun went down. After dinner was done, the dancing started. Sixties, some country, (Sweet Home Alabama of course,) and line dancing songs like Wobble, Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide, and C'mon Ride The Train. This was no quiet corporate event. They were here to party! And they did until we did the "Last Dance" by Donna Summer at the dock. DJ/MC Bill Robbins
