Corporate Event Aboard the Catalina Yacht

I had the pleasure of DJing the annual company party for Brown and Brown on the Catalina on Feb 4, 2022. There was a 70s Disco theme but the music was a variety. For cocktail hour I mixed disco with modern dance music from Donna Summer to David Guetta and KC and the Sunshine band to Topic. The cocktail hour was a blast. For dinner I played music from Portugal the Man to Lana Del Rey. After dinner it was all requests from 90s Hip Hop like Dr. Dre and Wreckx-n-Effect to Fantatastic Voyage from Coolio. There were lots of requests for Pitbull, Elephant Man, and Beenie Man. People were singing along on the mic to Anaconda by Nicki Minaj and Don’t Stop Believin by Journey. I played the Cupid Shuffle, the Wobble, Crank Dat Soulja Boy and about every other fun dance you can think of. This party lasted straight up until we docked and could have gone another four hours. Brown and Brown had a great year and they deserved to celebrate! Hope I get to DJ this party again next year.
